Any connoisseur happen to know the identity of this track (link below). It is most obviously a retro Euro-cult film cue, probably originally written for a thriller, spy or even horror film. It may be a non-film library cut but I doubt this, it sounds too targeted and the female vocalise could even be Edda Dell 'Orso - don't think she had much time for library work. I think it was found hiding in a Paul Naschy horror vehicle that had been scored from various bits and pieces dug out of Cam holdings.

Now that is one cool cue, very Italian vintage 1968/69. Has a Marcello Giombini feel to it, sort of.

I'm pretty sure I've heard that music before and if I'm not mistaken it was used in the French action-adventure movie LE RICAIN aka The Man From Chicago (1977) by Jean-Marie Pallardy. The film contains some original stuff by Morricone ("The ballad of the man from chicago") plus pre-existing music by Luis Bacalov (eg from IL PREZZO DEL POTERE), Bruno Nicolai (several cues from Defense De Savoir and others) as well as Morricone (the main theme from INCONTRO accomnpanies the end credits).

The music in the clip you posted is possibly by Bacalov (or Nicolai?) but I'm not sure from what film it originates. The female vocalist definitely sounds like Edda to me.

John,

Good to hear that exactly you were looking for identifying that piece!

Yesterday was so happy and have identified that piece by Roberto Pregadio:

Great theme!

In 2008 or 2009 my friend Derrick wrote:

I wonder if anyone identify this bit of music from the CAM library? It's found as the credit theme tune in the Spanish giallo A DRAGONFLY FOR EACH CORPSE and was also used in HUMAN BEASTS.

Hi everyone,

Back to this old thread,

As you all (or some of you) know - we already long time ago (myself) identified that mystery cue from the opening of DRAGONFLY FOR EACH CORPSE.

There was another film LE RICAIN (1978) by J-M PALLARDY who used a lot of CAM Library music and credited as ENNIO MORRICONE created original score.

Few years ago, watched VHS rip and carefully analyzed, identified a lot of tracks used in that LE RICAIN film from CAM library LP series, i did identified a lot of Bruno Nicolai's music from Defense De Savoir score, also Daniele Patucchi, Bacalov's Il Prezzo Del potere, Morricone's main theme of INCONTRO, also Claudio Tallino, Peppino De Luca - Margaret and others.

But anyway there a very few still unknown unidentified - anyway belongs to CAM.

Today with the help of Christian Riedrich i finally identified one more great track - it was from WHIRPOOL, you can listen it here

Maybe someone could help me to identify these remained tracks, thanks for any help

The strings theme is by Philippe Sarde from "La Race Des Seigneurs."

Thank you very much, indeed, it's also belongs to CAM!

so, almost all the tracks after so many years are identified except only 2 Whistle tunes - who knows they are original or they are also reused (maybe Morricone or Alessandroni)

Regarding WHIRPOOL - before that 2012 DIGIT CD i didn't know the WHIRPOOL themes have been previously released at CAM library LPs..

Obviously they have been released before - maybe under another titles, usually on CAM they not often credited original movie score.
