Mee too, but after Doug's "16" post. So they sold at least 17! ;-)
This said, even if Prison is not Band's best soundtrack, it deserved a CD release and it doesn't deserve such a lack of interest (if Doug's post is not a joke, and I thought it was one...)

Of course they were joking.

This one is gonna go OOP on Sept. 24, with less than 75 copies still being available.

Coincidentally, it's been exactly one year since the last post on this thread. Karma? wink

Intrada didn't mention the remaining quantity, just curious how you know this? I think it's great since I recall Doug mentioning it had only sold like 16 copies a week or so after it's release (I know he was joking about the 16 copies but I took it as it wasn't doing very well).

I enjoy it and it's a worthy pickup with the Halloween season approaching.

Have had it's since the original release. Fans of Richard Band and Christopher L. Stone should pick it up. Is it for everyone? No. However, it is very atmospheric and creepy. smile

Any chance we can hear Ken Harrison's rejected score? I just found out about it.

As a separate release, preferably.

Sorry about reopening this thread, but does anyone know the precise way to sequence these tracks so they play in an order that matches the track list?

Really??!!
This title barely sold any copies?

It’s a great spooky score from Band & Stone. Unique sound and, with the WAVEFRAME, it sounds a bit like Horner’s ALIENS at times. The new album sequence took some getting used to because I listened to the LP quite a bit when i first bought it.

I think this was explained above. Intrada took the LP, but mixed up side A and B of the LP. So when you start with track 7 (called "Rabbit's Escape And Death" on Intrada): that is really "Main Title/Catherine/Execution".

You have to play the CD 7,8,9,10,11,1,2,3,4,5,6 to match the track titles listed on the booklet.

Play side 2 of your LP first, then side 1, et voila: you will have the Intrada program. Not much to get used to. smile

I really hope that Dragon's Domain picks up this title again to do it right and to correct the errors on Intrada's release. It's a fine atmospheric synth score with many hints to James Horner's Aliens. And do not trust what Intrada wrote about that only a handful copies were sold. big grin
