Received my package of STAR TREK V, HOME ALONE and LOST IN SPACE 40th (one that I've put off buying for far too long). I have to say that all the releases are just incredible. It's fantastic to finally own the complete score to Star Trek V. I've always loved this score, even though I hated the movie. It did not disappoint. The Home Alone release was perfectly timed. Listening to it gave me the first real Christmas cheer I've had this year, and it's so crystal clear and beautifully presented. Thank you, LaLaLand!

I made a little suite of the score edited from the lalaland edition plus some of my favorite moments from the film. I'd like to share the fun: http://www.vimeo.com/18104028

From LLL's Facebook page.... The original HOME ALONE is back in stock at La-La Land. It's the last batch of the limited edition run -- only 400 units left...was cut off. 400 units left out of 3500 unit run. MV

I had asked about the status of Home Alone 2 on their FB page, but I cannot get on there right now so I didn't see if they replied... Anybody know? If its low we'll let you know. MV

I couldn't find a better thread or one just for this score, but "Batman Returns" was playing on TV Saturday while I was cleaning someplace. It's been several years since I've seen the film, but I was again struck at what a fantastic score it is. I remember at one point some evil little bad dog was doing something and this delightfully twisted music plays while the dog is walking. Put a smile on my face.

That was an announcement to remember. Loved MV's monkey avatar for that one too! Yeah, one of the top Black Fridays. Although for me, nothing will top the year that LLL released Dances With Wolves, Home Alone (25th anniversary edition), and Braveheart for Black Friday, within a week of Intrada releasing Edward Scissor Hands. And actually, right around that time Intrada also released definitive editions of all the Back to the Futures and the John Williams Jaws. Yessir, 2015 was a year to remember!
