Has anybody got an original copy of Randy Edelman's score Pontiac Moon - which was released on the Milan Label- milan35693 in 1995. That they may want to sell or swop. many thanks! M
Sorry to say it was never released. It was cancelled along with Alan Silvestri's Clean Slate score in 1994. Eventhough it's listed in the catalog it was never officially released. I might also confirm this with Milan themselves.
Thank you very much for confirming something that I thought had happened - I have never seen a copy. I saw the film the other night on tv and it had a tag ost available etc. Thanks again for the info. M
I got a big surprise today when I saw that Quartet Records was going to release Pontiac Moon this month. I am not a synth fan but for some reason I do love Randy Edelman. The man knows how to do melody. Hopefully Down Periscope can be released too.

I have amnesia when it comes to many movies released in the early 90s. We were raising 2 babies on polar opposite work schedules and the only movies I watched were Disney. Anyway, when I was poking around SAE today I noticed Pontiac Moon and the composer, my guy Randy Edelman. I went to Quartet page to listen to the samples. Awesome! I don't care that Edelman is synth, he still composes the score and that is all that matters to me. This is on my list.

He never disappoints and writes lovely music. (Synth or not.) His melodies are serene, and joyful without sounding cheesy.
