I finally received my October order today -- albeit unexpectedly because I never got a shipment confirmation email and my account still says the order is unfulfilled. I did receive the correct CDs I had ordered, minus the deleted titles already refunded.

Varese's CDs are now coming from the MusicToday warehouse in Crozet, Virginia -- the same media warehouse that Disney Music Emporium uses for their CDs. Hmm.

Yeah, they sold me 4 titles at the discounted rate, told me they didn't have 3 of those 4 titles months later after taking my money. Loyal customer since the 80's but I have to say...F**K Varese. SAE or I'll just rip their titles off YT from this point forward.

I finally received what Varese decided to send of my July 2023 order. They refunded me for the out of stock CDs. But I had ordered a $35 bundle of "Mouse Hunt" and "City Hall." All they sent was "Mouse Hunt," since "City Hall" is no longer available. But I was charged the full $35 and got no refund for "City Hall."

Worse, I paid $28.49 for Priority Mail shipment of my whole original order. They only shipped part of the order, and by Media Mail, which the USPS says should have cost $5.61. I didn't get a dime of refund on the shipping cost.

A strongly worded email is being sent to Varese today.

Let the name of Varese be stricken from every book and tablet, stricken from all pylons and obelisks, stricken from every monument of Film Score Land. Let the name of Varese be unheard and unspoken, erased from the memory of men for all time.

Finally a piece of decent news. Craft Recordings Customer Service says that they will give me a refund for the overcharge on "Mouse Hunt" and for the overcharge on the shipping costs. They ended their email by saying "Thank you for your patience and for allowing us the opportunity to make things right."

Things would have been more right if I hadn't of had to wait 9 months for my order, but since that's water under the bridge, at least they didn't give me a hard time about this additional refund.

They say that they are preparing the rest of my order for shipment, and they will notify me when it ships. They also sent me a code for 20% off my next order.

Me too. After cancelling most of what I ordered. Received the CDs, but no shipping notice prior to the package arriving.

Also, I just tried that code and I get an error that says I need to enter a "valid" gift code??? Anyone try their code and see that it works? I only see one place to enter any code and it won't take it.

Yeesh. And what a feeble ending to their email.
