A few days ago I was thinking Bacharach was really old and possibly could pass soon.

I have a bunch of his cds.

I'll watch CASINO ROYALE tonight and listen to the soundtrack.

Sad news. He has a legacy of great songs, probably one of the best songwriters of all time.

In my opinion Bacharach's masterpiece as a film composer will always be the score for "Casino Royale"! They're aren't any more like him.

Watched a concert of his music, with him interviewed.

The songs used his very familiar (to me) arrangements, so I was a little bored.

But I was interested to hear "A House Is Not a Home" for the first time.
