I just saw this 2008 movie, with David Morse kind of reprising his role in THE LANGOLIERS as a pilot. I liked it, hints of THE SIXTH SENSE here and there.
Shearmur's primarlily electronic/piano score was really good, although some of it extremely similar to Thomas Newman. Up there with K-PAX (and 88 MINUTES) as his best score, of the few I've heard of them.
It even had a motorcycle scene similar to Taxi Ride from K-PAX. It also had a good old Love Theme and a very nice End Title piece.
Soundtrack on Varese.
Opinions? Anything else by Shearmur in this style, other than K-PAX and 88 MINUTES?

Love this score! Saw the film a few years back and instantly sought out the Varese release...it gets a lot of play at my house. The film's a guilty pleasure of mine too, I know the idea has been done before but I'm always moved by the end of the film...bought it on blu-ray and find it's pretty rewatchable too. Love the chemistry between Hathaway and Wilson in this!
