Premiere? Sounds interesting. But what was it?

Sounds like it could have been "Across the Stars" adapted for Violin and performed by Anne-Sophie Mutter.

Can't wait to hear what Williams did with "Cinderelly Liberty"

Huh? I was pointing out the timelessness of the Star Wars theme. It must be the most recognized piece of orchestral music composed in the last 50 or 60 years.

This looks like a continuation of the “Cinema Serenade” albums from the late ‘90s. I’ve never heard Mutter do jazz riffs so I’m looking forward to Cinderella Liberty in particular.

Theses arrangements from violin and orchestra have been really popular in the concerts Williams conducts. The concertmasters love them of course.

Worlwide renowned violonist Renaud Capuçon recently recorded Schindler's List for his new album and wanted to do more Williams but was not authorized to do so.
John Williams has an album project in the pipeline with Anne Sophie Mutter "Accross the Stars"...

I love "Across the Stars" but I'm finding it really hard to get into this arrangement. It's less focused and more ponderous, and as a result loses the tragic punch of the original. It reminds me more of the rambling walk-and-talk music that plagued the prequels.
