there's a soundtrack CD included with two video releases (dvd and blu-ray), and a 2014 vinyl release. Why no CD-only release? While it augments the movie perfectly, it's probably better than the movie itself and deserves it's own release. I'm surprised one of the smaller labels hasn't marketed it if the big boys aren't interested.
Ok, I can't watch you flounder any longer Child, especially since I like this score. I got it from the dvd deluxe and even made my own cue titles and artwork. So...
Great score especially the main title. I guess if the score & source were remixed & presented nicely I'd have another go..
And your right, where ARE the ubiquitous opinionated....
Well, I too know nothing about this, but the title cue is very much up my alley, so I'd be glad of a release. Just judging from the responses on the thread, this seems to out-obscure even the small labels.
Main theme reminds me Rosemary's Baby, with some instrument/effect which sounds like the tribbles theme from Trek.
The film opens with 3 different short segments which breaks up the main theme. The music connects them with a huge creepy vibe, and is a pretty cool way to keep your attention. The rest of the movie is uneven, but the music is always effective.
