Are we sure that Soderbergh was talking about just the ROCKETEER score, and not the film itself?

Actually I didn't know that nugget about Newman on"Unsane" either. Although I HAVE been in hospital on months...

From the way Martinez told the story, he seemed to believe Soderbergh was referring to the music.

It's not really a big surprise when you look at the scoring of Soderbergh's movies. The most traditional orchestral score he ever used was Newman's Good German, and supposedly that was only after David Holmes wrote a score that was rejected.
