temporarily allowing images to be posted online for free, until they institute their new lower price for that service. In other words, still no free posting with a free membership.
Just got an email my Photobucket account is over limit on bandwidth and they want me to pay for an upgrade. I've long since abandoned their service after removing all my pictures and demanding I had to pay to have them restored, then bringing them back with watermarks on them instead. Just wondering if this is a scam email or if others are getting this too?

I've received multiple emails to this effect over the past few weeks. Photobucket is trying all sorts of things to remain viable, and I have no reason to believe that this is a scam.
