Our late and lamented film Music Expert Peter D. Kent had for years a Cockatiel named Dimi - for obvious reasons. I think he could be as loud and bombastic at time like our beloved Mr Tiomkin!

Not a pet, but my wife to this day still gets on my case for not speaking up about naming our son James, since I had the idea but didn't say anything. She thought it would've been nice.

This is funnier than it should be.

Now all we need is for somebody to Photoshop their faces into the breeds/animals mentioned.

How about a bad joke?

I had a dog named Alexandre. It ran into the road and was Desplat.

While not a composer, film score mixing LEGEND Alan Meyerson has a dog.

The dog's name does not matter, because it's Alan Meyerson's dog.

Alan. Meyerson.

We have a 25 lb. Maine Coon named Bear.

Would you believe me if I said he was named after Bear McCreary?

Ummm, no. I tried.

If I had a pig, I'd name it Chris Bacon.

If I had a pig, I'd name it Chris Bacon.

And if you cook him, you'll have crispy Bacon.

Eh, a repeat, but I'll count it as still being on fire.

Justin, you do know that Chris Bacon's middle initial actually is P, right? smile (no joke, honest! or rather, a probable joke on his parents' part)

Yavar

Yup. ;-)

I think I'm actually the one who started the whole "Crispy Bacon" joke. At least here at FSM.

I also said, recently, I want him and Thomas Wanker to co-score a film, that way the credit can read: Bacon/Wanker
