Attilio Mineo's outer space masterpiece "Man in Space with Sounds" has recently been reissued on Modern Harmonic.
I have the Modern Harmonic reissue of Tak Shindo's exotica masterpiece "Mganga!" and it sounds fabulous.
It is my understanding that the masters for Man In Space with Sounds are or were lost. Has anyone picked up the Modern Harmonic version, either on CD or LP, and can you compare the sound to the 1990s Jack Diamond CD reissue?
Because of this and earlier threads I've listened to what is on Spotify- a combined edition with and without narration dated from the late 1990's. I was enjoying it until I got distracted by this article about electronic music albums of the 50's and 60's, some of which I have and some I don't know.
As Mineo's album was used in 1962 Worlds Fair, I thought it was only fair to share Gerald Fried's 1964 Worlds Fair music. Tangential, but at least it's bumping up your thread, Onya.

Yes, that is the Jack Diamond edition from the 1990s. It was a transfer from a mono LP, annoyingly using a stereo cartridge, meaning you get all the stereo groove distortion and stylus travel. Folding it to mono eliminates much of this, thankfully. The audio samples of the Modern Harmonic album seem to sound better, but I can hear them only on tinny little computer speakers.
Got all into Rudin's Tragoedia, which isn't helpful to this thread at all.
I have this on LP. Those kinds of albums used to be everywhere, especially library sales.
