It seems that logging in to your profile on the RAH site allows you to enter the queue. By chance at 8.55am I decided to log into my account before the tickets went on sale and it immediately entered me into the queue. ..... But you had to click the logon icon to enter the queue. I suspect some people found the page but didn't attempt to logon... Sorry - that was completely my point. I didn't know that either - it was by luck that I did it.

Seeing it… staring at the screen with big eyes…adrenaline pumping through my body, nervously checking my agenda, checking the website… could it be? A Friday? What about work? Take a day off? Flight? Hotel? Costs? I become a dad in July… Other things to care about than music! … But John Williams, my hero! In real life!! Questions, excitement, hope….?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 30 seconds later: Back to reality: sold out. No chance. Oh well, I always have my pile of CDs…:-) Congrats on the birth of the baby, first of all. I truly enjoyed your comment. I can imagine all of this running through your head as you measure the opportunity of seeing your hero against the reality of how things are once that baby comes along. I have been there as many of us have, trust me. You have a wonderful attitude. Thanks, that's such a nice comment of you! Yes, had loved to see John Williams live one time! I don't know if I'll ever have the chance to do so. I Wanted to see Jerry Goldsmith in the Barbican in 2002, but that was cancelled because of his failing health. I'm glad I did see Morricone once! But hey, it's not important: we're just lucky that John Williams is still going strong and that he still can give us new music! I'm grateful for that. And I guess I can use the money that I will now not spend for the concert, especially after having our baby! ;-)

The baby will grow up oblivious of the sacrifice and you’ll grow to resent that he or she got in the way of seeing your hero! Idiot! Learn from your mistakes! Brian Tyler tickets will still be available! :-) She [!] won't grow up oblivious of this, I'll tell her everytime I play Williams' music! Thanks for the Tyler-tip! ;-)

...I Wanted to see Jerry Goldsmith in the Barbican in 2002, but that was cancelled because of his failing health... I went to see Jerry at the RAH in 2002 - was that before or after the cancelled Barbican concert? --------- Jerry Goldsmith conducted at the Royal Albert Hall in June 2001. No concerts in 2002 for health reasons. In March 2003 he did two concerts at the Barbican. He was due to do a 75th Birthday concert at the Barbican in February 2004 but he was too ill to paricipate and so it was conducted by Dirk Brosse I

You need to swaddle her in Star Wars finery and play the scores for her continuously. Before long, she'll be your little film music buddy. I dragged my two adult babies to see Maestro Williams at Tanglewood last year and they can't wait to go this year.
