The version I listened to on Amazon Music had many distorted moments in the bass. I'm not sure if its a defect or just mixed that way. I'd like to get the 2 CD jewel cased version of this score on Amazon, but my last few experiences with Amazon and Sony releases all wound up being unadvertised CD-Rs which is what I don't want. The one I'm looking at is this one B076DQVT9Y

Emailed you but can confirm this is the version I bought which is a pressed CDs in a 2CD jewel case and the first track does have noticeable bass distortion.
I just returned to this for some reason. I eventually kept the "limited Edition" soundtrack for BLADE RUNNER 2049.
In any case, as many people here have noticed, the first track has a clearly audible distortion that is not present on the digital download.
(I compared the CD with the Qobuz 16/44.1kHz version, and the latter does not have the distortion.)
They should sound the same (because presumably they should have used the same master), but they do not, the download option is clearly preferable (for track 1).
The distortion is clearly audible on my home stereo system, but also when I check and compare with headphones. Since the Blade Runner disc checks out fine in AccurateRip, the error obviously concerns all copies of that particular edition. The lossless download is the preferable choice here.
