All scores after Explorers had a unlimited release, & the new catch-phrase while quantities & interest remain!
Not true -- most were still limited, they just didn't say how many that limit is (thus "quantities"). Sometimes they just didn't make as many as planned if there wasn't enough "interest".

I remember well it got held up, & it did get changed from 3000 to U/L, take a look back at ISC 179 down , & then all the way up till now, there unlimited from 180 fact.
In any case, those of you who were able to grab one in time need not apply... a tiny bit of re-mastering has been done, mainly to remove a small gap in the music during one track that wasn’t supposed to be there.
Does the "need not apply" bit mean there's no need to ask for a replacement because corrected versions without the gap in the music are being automatically sent out to everyone who bought the original release?

Probably nope - Doug said that no one ever seemed to notice but myself. So this indicates that there was no re-pressing...
How quickly did North's 2001 score fly off the shelves?
If I recall it didn't sell out as fast as I would have expected. I know I sold my copy off for some stupid reason and finally found a decent copy to rebuy. Amazon I believe still sells a CD-R version from Norths estate ... I always wanted Intrada to be able to do another pressing but with a CD-R on Amazon who knows if it would sell again even ... although it might if it was noted as a limited pressing.
IIRC, Scorpio had sold in less than a day on July 1st 2008. I had gone to Ottawa to celebrate Canada day and when I arrived home in the evening: poof! It was gone.
Somebody mentioned about EXPLORERS also that sold out pretty quickly on the Intrada messageboard. Could that be a contender too?
It didn't sell out in a day.
I was partly wrong on my previous post, Explorers did sell out in half a day 3000 copies, however the reissue had a legal binding about indicating on the cover not to mark the next batch as 3000, if Intrada didn't do this they could've been sued, this held up the reissue.
As I said earlier from Explorers ISC 180, there's no more indication to state the amount on any cover. so it become U/L.
"Special Collection" also rules out Signature Editions that sold out super-fast, like Holdridge's In Search of Peace. (I'm glad I got a copy; it's awesome...but it would be great for others who missed out to get a shot at it.)
But let's be honest...this is going to be a Jerry title. Probably Goldsmith (95% of reissues are, particularly ones that are getting released "expanded" more than once...this is most likely Baby, because I don't think One Little Indian sold out in less than a day) with an outside chance of Fielding (Scorpio).
