There was also a vinyl release I might pick up. I think I'll be sticking with the Silva CD until we get an expanded score. It was difficult to find a high res image of Varese's version of the cover. As a result, a complete T2 is currently a VERY remote possibility. This franchise has changed hands so many times, it's not surprising that something like this would happen. However I remember reading simply that the masters are lost. The packaging is supremely minimal. They sure didn't drop a penny more than they had to. Ultra-thin cardboard. No information apart from the track titles and times inside. The CD is wedged into the fold pretty good, but I just need it to rip the music onto iTunes so no real skin off my back. The cover design is cool, although as you can see there are dual designs on the front and back and I had a minor heart attack when I opened my package and saw the old design facing me and thought I'd been sent the wrong CD. All in all, the packaging is pretty much original The Lost World: JP packaging quality, minus the dino-rama (which could be a plus or a minus depending on your taste or lack thereof).
