The trailer should be out soon! I'm excited for this one guys! I was excited for, and really liked ROGUE ONE, but I'm even more excited for THE LAST JEDI. I know I'm babbling here, but I can't help it.

You and me both! It's okay to be excited about upcoming movies. There's nothing wrong with having some fun in life, Henry.
I absoutely loved THE FORCE AWAKENS (one of my favourite movies that year) -- far superior to ROGUE ONE -- so yes, I'm VERY excited about THE LAST JEDI. Bring it on already!

Rumour has it, there might be a trailer for for Star Wars Celebration, which is being held next month in Orlando.
At least this one isn't directed by JJ Abrams. TFA just never grabbed me at all and whilst it was an improvement on the prequel movies it just didn't feel like a Star Wars movie to me.
I confess to getting chills during the crawl at the start, and seeing the Falcon for the first time too. But beyond that I found the whole thing rather by-the-numbers. Of the new characters, only Rey came across as genuine and interesting. And of the returning ones, well, Han Solo seemed as disinterested as I was. And sort, but not seeing Han and Luke having one last grand hurrah together was just criminal - and if they had saved Solo's death for Episode VIII that would have had far more impact (and I don't believe Harrison Ford wouldn't have signed for it considering some of the rubbish he does these days).
And the writing - man alive I thought Abrahams loved his coincidences in the first Star Trek but here he ramps it up with the ludicrous way Solo and Chewie are introduced. I hate that sort of thing, its lazy writing, something Abrams specialises at.
So I'm hopeful that The Last Jedi will be an improvement. I've kind of realised that I'm not really a Star Wars fan any more (hated Rogue One, hated the prequels. have always hated Return of the Jedi - so basically I'm only a (huge) fan of two movies in the franchise!) but I'd still really like to fall in love again so here's hoping episode VIII will do that for me.
