If you're looking for Jackman channeling Silvestri's writing style, you can check his recent Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and Kong: Skull Island (there he took inspiration from the Predator scores in particular). His work on Pixels is a surpisingly solid and envoyable effort too, similar to some of Debney's fantasy/adventure scores.

Predator 2018 is a completely unnecessary movie, and Jackman is, at his peak powers, an okay composer.
This is total milking the fanboy stuff.

If not Silvestri then Jackman all the way. I am one of his few fans.

I'm another. Hugely talented fellow who can do both orchestral and electronic affairs with equal skill.

Question to both posters quoted here, which Jackman scores should I sample to get an idea of what he is capable of?

The only stuff of his I'm really familiar with are his MCU and X-Men scores.

Best electronic -- Man On a Ledge
Best orchestral -- Uncharted 4 (vg)

The only good Jackman score to date was Puss In Boots, and James Horner deserved a "themes by" credit for all the swipes from his Zorro scores.

Personally, I don't really care about any of those.

I'll echo DeputyRiley's recommendations, as well as the delightful PUSS IN BOOTS.

Other good ones: the KINGSMAN movies, BIG HERO 6, BIRTH OF A NATION, GULLIVER'S TRAVELS

And I belong to those who like the zithering, ambient experimentation of CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER.

For his electronic stuff, you can just skip the film scores (even though there's some good stuff there too), and listen to something like the non-film music album TRANSFIGURATION (2005).
