The piece itself is truly one of the most beautiful pieces of music out there, so it's interesting to hear another version that is faithful to the original, yet special in its own way. Thanks for posting Henry!

Indeed thanks Henry for mentioning this beautiful musician called Katica Illenyi I never heard of before. She's a truly accomplished cross over artist who seems to be at ease with any genre ranging from classical to jazz manouche, from songs like O sole mio to soundtracks, etc. I've watched and listened to quite a lot of videos and enjoyed her playing stuff like The Platters' hit Only you on theremin, something you would not expect. She's a violinist who performs a lot of music from Middle Europa (Liszt, Kreisler, Lehar, Monti, etc), sometimes together with other members of her familiy, like for instance Paganini's 24th caprice or Piazzola's heartrending Oblivion. It's also a treat to have her sing a movement from Bach's violin concerto in A minor. Did you notice she's also playing Morricone's Chi mai on violin in a stunning arrangement I didn't know? All in all, I like it when artists like her have no boundaries. A last remark: she's playing everything by heart. Truly amazing.
