He is one of the composers that I have a complete collection of.

I have quite a bit. Listening to TREASURE PLANET right now — from the good ol' days when he was at the height of his powers.

I used to buy everything (except Primal Fear, which sucks), but my interest waned at about the same time as his interest in melody.

Yes. 114 CDs from JNH here. Physical CDs only, of course.

I just got Half Time today, enjoyable up-tempo piece.

He was great until he got Zimmered!!
I regret him ever getting that Batman Begins co-gig.
They taught him some bad tricks at that factory.
He's not been quite right since wink

I hope they will release his score to Marked for Death, a great little gem

Not a JNH completist -- nor do I have any intention to be one -- but he's in my Top 10 composer list, and I disagree with those who constantly say 'he's not as good as he used to'. Give him something to work with, and he'll deliver; like the HUNGER GAMES scores or MALEFICENT.

Still waiting for "Some Girls"... but for some reason I feel like I'm the only one confused
....oh that's right, nobody else around here seems to have seen the film big grin

I've got about 50 of his CDs.

A couple of years ago, I got rid of about 15 of his scores that I really didn't like, particularly some of the earlier synth stuff.

And as with a lot of my collection, I'm slowly trying to reduce the number of CDs on my shelves of the second-rate scores as I can't see the point in collecting them just for the sake of it. So I reckon I've archived about another 15 into a box, leaving me with about 35 of his top-notch stuff.

And looking at those 35, it's about half and half before and after 2005 when he was "Zimmered" with Batman Begins, so I am still very much a fan of his recent output.

I pretty much agree with what's been said here.

I get all his new scores, but I don't always keep them.

(For instance, thought GREEN LANTERN would be great, and I ended up getting rid of it.)

Anyone here have the CD of PAWN SACRIFICE? Heard it was pretty good, and the CD was apparently available for a short time, but then disappeared. (I'd prefer the physical CD, though I know it was/is available as a download, at least from Amazon.)

I don't have the CD, but I have a digital version. Although the film leaves something to be desired, the score is quite good. JNH in textural mode, but he's very good at it.

I am a JNH completist. And if someone has the complete list of his work in pop music etc. as a composer, arranger and conductor, I'd like to get it ! Same goes for Michael Kamen, by the way.
I'm a JNH fan since I saw 8 MILLIONS WAYS TO DIE in 1986 and I think he's still one of the best. He could be a perfect choice to replace James Horner on the AVATAR sequels.

I have only Glengarry Glen Ross.

Does anyone know if there is additional music in the film that is not on the CD?

I am a longtime fan of his work though I missed a few scores between 2012-2015 when I was out of commission due to a stroke I suffered. His most recent score in my collection is MALEFICENT. I did get somewhat caught up by a great friend who got me some of the expanded releases. I did get OUTBREAK but I've always wished that an expanded DREAMCATCHER would be next from Varese. There was a time when I was getting CDs that featured only one track from him. I used to scour used CD stores at least three times a week in search of his early work. It was during one of those jaunts that I acquired ALIVE. I even have old Melissa Manchester discs where he was her piano/keyboardist and arranger.

This describes my feelings well. The times of Promised Land, The Fugitive and even Snow Falling on Cedars are long left behind us frown

Would love a release of Flatliners.
