Sounds promissing... too bad there is still no soundtrack album available... but hey! At least we've got 15th reissue of Home alone instead...

Any more comments re the movie and the score?

FYI

Home Alone has sold nearly 2000 units in one week, whereas 3:10 to Yuma and Hitman Agent 47 combined has only sold 900 units since they came out.

I bought one each! smile So happy that La-La is representing MB on their label, ever since Max Payne, regardless of sales.

Maybe Beltrami should start his own boutique label.

I love Marco's work as well but don't shit on Home Alone, which folks clearly want.

Are you confusing me with Lokutus or something? Because I didn't shit on Home Alone -- at all. I was actually, um...paying your label a compliment.

Which Deputy Riley didn't, so why be a jerk to him?

Wow. Kind of uncalled for, MV.

No I'm not talking smack to you. I am referring to Lokutus and his constant badgering about Beltrami releases. My sincere apologies if you think it was meant to you.

As a Beltrami fan I must say I'm very disappointed to hear of the poor sales of his scores. Hitman wasn't really on my radar but I am going to get around to buying 3:10 to Yuma one of these days. It's a really great score and if I wasn't a poor student I would have bought it on day one. But darn, it seems like sales numbers for it make sales number for LLL's superb release of A Certain Smile look good in comparison (and that, in contrast to 3:10 Yuma, was for a Golden Age film which almost nobody had seen because it wasn't released on home video). Really damn disheartening.

Ok it seemed like it was aimed at me. Misunderstanding now understood. All good.

I am too, Yavar. Considering how many Beltrami scores Varese has released (which is a ton), I wonder what sales are like for him on that label over the years -- it would be interesting to see a breakdown release-by-release. Cumulatively, I'm sure his sales are great for Varese, but per score, I wonder if they're on par with La-La...?
