Not sure if this has ever been discussed before but is there any life for this music after the discs have sold out? In other words, by "life" I mean Streaming Rights.
Seams a shame that the only money making opportunities after a disc goes out of print is through the used market.

I think it depends on the contract for the release. If I remember, many studios retain the rights to release digital versions of scores themselves. For example, I know that many OOP intrada releases can be found on iTunes, released by the studios themselves.

Ive seen that well regarding Intrada and other labels. The studios seem to release all movie tracks our labels released. Not the 2nd disc of extras. Nice for them to live off the lablel work.

My thoughts exactly.

Don't miss Warning Shot! Stereo LP plus mono music stem—classic '60s Goldsmith.

All of these releases live forever. Once a title has been digitized, it is readily available for eternity, or until an asteroid strikes the earth.
