Will order it soon. Used to play the album for "hot" dates! Of course, that was decades ago.

Excellent! Another in my collection rescued from vinyl hell! I hope the packaging includes the picture on the back cover.

"The Garden of Earthly Delights" is a classic track.

My only complaint about the album was that the in-film performance of "The Fat Man" by Jelly Belly Harold wasn't included on the LP. The album substituted a performance of it by Robbie Robertson.

I remember looking this LP over time and again at record stores in the 80's, fascinated by the dual soundtrack. But I never saw the movie (don't even know if it got released long enough to see it), didn't know who Alex North was at the time, wasn't into the Band, so I never took a chance. 35 years later, I'm taking a chance.

...and so glad I did, finally! This is a great album, all instrumental except for the Fat Man mentioned above. A terrific sleazy, bluesy, creepy, lovely, screwy 36 minutes, with a terrific segue from the Robertson half to the North half. And North's final Carny theme has some fun connections to his Dragonslayer score, and some wind writing out of The Devil's Brigade.

The album would make great Halloween music for those who want something more Ray Bradbury than Stephen King. If you're a fan of North, as Robertson is, it's very much worth adding to the collection.

It's been wonderful for me to hear this music again, after a more than 20 year lapse. It is just as good as I remembered it.
