There's a funny story about LIFEBOAT. The star, Tallulah Bankhead, was known for being outrageous.
To film their scenes, the cast had to climb up the ladder of a big water tank and board the lifeboat. Miss Bankhead didn't wear underwear, so the rest of the cast got an eyeful. One of the cast members registered a complaint to Mr. Hitchcock. Hitchcock replied "Well, I don't know if this a problem for wardrobe or hairdressing."
