(1) Did Luke actually keep his fathers melted helmet after cremation?! (2) Has Han been in the same outfit for 40 years? (3) Is that Luke's hand? Did he say, screw the realistic one, I'll just go with the Terminator look? (4) Is that Khan with a lightsaber? (5) Is that Chris Pine (AKA) Kirk riding across the desert on a speeder bike?
I think Sol, the question of Vader's mask being resurrected as some kind of Sith sought relic was raised some time ago. Ultimately, it must have been picked up from the ashes of the funeral pyre on Endor. And that could only have been down to Luke. But, hey, there are loads of burnt out former SW relics lying about all over the place as seen in the clip.
If Luke chooses to see his hand as artificial then maybe it's to remind him of all that's BAD in the universe and maybe he should give it a try - you only live once.
JJ has not outgrown the delinquency of video snap-zooms. And yes, I think you're right that he couldn't resist making a reference to a former Trek. Maybe it's a case of Abrams' Pets.
A new addition to the cute robots section has been made. The single eyed "wheelie" one was in a couple of shots, including a creepy deja-vu like imitation of Leia peeking cautiously down a corridor from Star Wars. Anyone notice that?
Also there's a scene of TIE fighters of one type firing on other TIE fighters in a hangar, which suggests some sort of coup taking place, from which our de-helmeted stormtrooper has managed to escape - only to end up under fire again. Then there are more TIEs chasing the Falcon so it looks as if Order 66 has been dusted off and re-activated by Khan?

Please, please, please let it be revealed that one of the siblings is actually Luke's and Leia's! (Yeah you read that right) It would be the icing on the cake.
This and the new Avengers movie are almost tempting me to give up my choice to skip out on movies in theaters. We'll see when they come out based on how excited everyone is by them after seeing them. Though I probably won't go in opening weekend anymore.
