TUESDAY, JANUARY 27 FANTASTIC FOUR---trailer released for the reboot movie. X-MEN---Fox Entertainment chairman Gary Newman confirmed the network is developing an X-Men tv series, “It’s in negotiations. We’re cautiously optimistic, we had a good meeting with them. That will not be on a fast track creatively. This is just the deal, now we have to find the creative.” Fox is in talks with 24 producers Evan Katz and Manny Coto who would be the showrunners for the new series. A.K.A. JESSICA JONES---David Tennant (DOCTOR WHO) will play Kilgrave/Purple Man in the Netflix series. CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR---Daniel Bruhl will reportedly play Baron Zemo in the sequel. THE BENDS---Rosamund Pike (GONE GIRL) and Joel Kinnaman (THE KILLING) star in this movie in which an ex-Marine diver, working to pay off a Mob debt, makes a mysterious discovery on the ocean floor. LET IT SNOW---Alan Arkin, Diane Keaton, John Goodman, Marisa Tomei, Olivia Wilde and Ed Helms star in this comedy movie in which an extended family gather for their annual holiday reunion. DODGE AND TWIST---Sony Pictures heist movie sequel to OLIVER TWIST is set 20 years after the novel in which Oliver Twist is a policeman who must prevent Artful Dodger from stealing the Crown jewels. Andrew Garfield and Eddie Redmayne are candidates to star. PANDEMIC---movie underway set during a global virus pandemic in which a female doctor leads a team to find survivors and a cure to save mankind. Rachel Nichols (GI JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA), Mekhi Phifer (INSURGENT), Paul Guilfoyle (CSI) and Missi Pyle (GONE GIRL) star. SCREAM QUEENS---Nick Jonas has joined the cast of the Fox comedy-horror anthology series about a college campus plagued by a series of murders. Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin also star. CHEV & BEV---the NATIONAL LAMPOON'S VACATION duo of Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo will reunite for this ABC sitcom pilot about self-obsessed baby boomers who are forced to take care of their grandchildren. GOBOTS---Hasbro is apparently rebooting the Hanna-Berbera animated series when it filed for a new GoBots trademark for the "distribution of motion pictures, ongoing television programs" and "toys, games and playthings, namely, toy vehicles and accessories for use therewith".
