This is a wonderful compilation. I love it. I always wanted the music from the "wine commercial".

I'm not sure what you mean with "more synthbase". The two tracks on the THEMES compilation ("Opening credtis" and "Closing Credits") are the only commercially available tracks from the original score. The BSX album is a rerecording done by someone else (Dominik Hauser?). I found the BSX a valiant effort, but ultimately lacklustre. No one can rerecord Vangelis except for Vangelis himself.

yes thats' what i meant, i only saw some bootlegs which are bad quality i read from the original score, does the movie have more synthsound? cause the Dominik Hauser one was like you said re-recorded and has a more modern, orchestrated style mixed with synths.

I'm not aware of any acoustic instruments in Vangelis' original BOUNTY score, no. But it's a beautiful score in-context, as it captures the throbbing heat and seething photography of the film. It's not bad. I recommend that you see it, if you get the chance.

And yes -- we really need a release of the original Vangelis score beyond those two tracks on THEMES. At the very least a rerecording done by the man himself instead of some rather lackluster interpretation by someone else.

I think this guy is the only one to get as close to Vangelis aside from he man himself, and I would enjoy a rerecorsin from him.
