"John Carter"....why??? At the very least it's "John Carter of Mars"!
I was going to post this. Not a dumb film, but certainly the blandest title one could come up with.
Indeed...cracking film, which kinda makes the choice of title even dumber. I listed the movie for showing at a film club I run, and got complaints that the group "didn't want to watch some boring biography..."....one can hardly blame them, with that title. I showed it, after explaining the title....predictably, they loved the movie.
