As others pointed out the quality is what it is but if you like Bernard Herrmann then I suggest you buy these scores. Personally I think anyone who appreciates movie and TV scores will not be disappointed unless they waited too long and missed out on the release of these CDs. Not owning the copies is worse than not owning them at all.

Well, as I said earlier, I am a Herrmann aficionado, and I also love nervous angular longhair TV jazz, as I have written here elsewhere. The TZ box set contains both. Volume 3, disc 2, is very much in a TZ bag. The Lynn Murray disc did not do much for me on a single listen, but I plan to revisit.

I love them all, although I think I prefer to hear his music played while watching each episode than to hear the music played separated from them.

"An Unlocked Window" is one of the creepiest episodes ever produced for the series and I can't imagine hearing Herrmann's music the same way without watching the episode for which the music was created:
