Would rather see him get back into film scoring. Oh well, I'll take what I can get.

This could be really good... or really cheesy. I'll definitely check it out.
On a side note, glad to see hear Timothy Omundson's smooth baritone voice again. smile

It's no 'Wizards and Warriors'...

This looks as toothless and slight as 'Mirror, Mirror'. More grit! More bite!
A few of the songs seem promising.

It's more "Princess Bride" than anything else. Certainly not action/adventure in the traditional sense.

It certainly looks different from the other current programs which are very redundant. I'll check it out and hope it is really good.

I admit I'm a little surprised they picked this up after Smash failed over on NBC.

I kinda like this type of stuff and I love Menken, but main stream audiences I think really don't warm up to musicals.

COP ROCK sunk big time and that was pretty cool back in the day.

I think it might be better received as a "one time" TV-Movie Length Musical.

I'll wait for the tracklist to see how much Chris Lennertz's score is actually included.

It's not usually my thing, but my wife and I are finding the show amusing enough.

I particularly like Timothy Omundson as King Richard. He seems to be having a blast.

I found the first two hours of this show a lot of fun. The Galavant song was enjoyable, and the advertisements during those first two hours all utilized, with different lyrics, that song. Those ads were really funny, and I enjoyed the whole show. I watched the third episode a few days ago, and it was cute. Except for the Galavant song, I haven't heard any songs that I thought were memorable, but the lyrics are laugh out loud funny.

The show is an absolute gas. Witty lyrics, funny lines, absolute silliness. I have laughed out load many many times so far. The evil King is probably the funniest character of them all. When he asks a eunuch if he "felt anything down there" so to speak, to prove he didn't he had everyone take a whack at him so to speak. It was so Monty Pythonesque I couldn't stop laughing.

The show is frothy and silly and devoid of dark overtones or cynicism. Give it a shot without preconceived notions and you may lol a lot too.

Bump! Saw the first episode online. I enjoyed it. Sadly the stream kept starting and stopping which was annoying. So not sure how much I enjoyed it. Production values are tremendous. If there are any CGI enhancements in this, I didn't see them.

They ruined a joke on the broadcast version. During a comical exchange in the preview was the punchline "Sex". I noticed this was omitted from the actual episode. Yet, a "funny" line like beheading was left intact even when we are hearing of monthly terrorist beheadings in real life. Go figure...

Another bump! Well I don't know what to think of the music. The orchestration is fabulous, the singers are fabulous, but the lyrics are so juvenile and in the gutter its a turn off. I loved the locations, sets and cast. Ticked off it ended on a cliffhanger. I expected closure. My understanding is the ratings are abysmal. I don't expect any resolution.
