I'm about halfway through the score and there is some cracking action music on here, missing from the original album.

Absolutely!

Here's my pick of the previously unheard action stuff from Disc 1.

1 The start of On The Beach
7 Kiss Of Life
14 Jinx, James & Genes
15 Gustav Graves' Grand Entrance. Basically someone playing the Bond theme lovingly on guitar for most of the track. Sounds like they're having a ball. I wonder who performed it - Arnold?
18 The Vanish/Bond Goes To Iceland
28 Ice Palace Car Chase

All of those are wonderful. Especially love “Kiss of Life.”

What's the difference between

Hovercraft Chase 3:48

and

Hovercraft Chase (Film Version) 3.47

I can't spot any differences?

I haven’t listened closely to the two side by side yet, but I’m guessing just differences in the sound mix—which instruments play more loudly at different times.

It's a different mix and the edit points between the three takes are slightly different. As mentioned in my note, differences are subtle, but when comparing the album tracks to files prepared for the movie, I was able to spot differences.

Thank you!

I'm not into source music but that's a cool track on Disc 2 (15: Party Trick).

The track Gustav Graves Grand Entrance includes a really smooth version of the James Bknd Theme not used in the film. Was that the original piece of music recorded but was replaced by London Calling or whatever the song is?

You had to purchase "You Know My Name" separately, but that's the way it's been for all 4 of Daniel Craig's films—it's just how they do things now. I believe the only thing from the film that hasn't been released is the film version of "You Know My Name."

That's not true in terms of songs being on Craig Bond film soundtracks. "Another Way to Die" is on the Quantum of Solace disc.

That is correct. Quantum of Solace slipped my mind. For the other three, it is true.

I have listened to this score for some days now. What a FANTASTIC soundtrack, sooo let down by its original release. The full score serves up Arnold-action and Barry-esque drama we all forgot featured so much in the film. Compared to Thomas Newmans efforts, this IS a Bond score. Overblown in some parts, gentle and majestic in other - but above all - melodic and please to listen to.

All the Americans in here are all about The Last Jedi. Meh-film and meh-score!

Die Another Day at least had a good score.

Gloriously provided by Lalaland Records! Sooo greatful! If the sales are lower than expected, give me a hint and I will buy more. So that further EON releases will be guaranteed!

I can confirm Die Another Day has arrived in North West England. smile

Is it possible to buy this in the UK and not get hammered by tax and customs duties?

That's my set. I ordered direct from LLL and didn't get hammered by tax and custom duties.

Elite Soundtracks in the UK are selling this for £32.95.
