Music by David Arnold
Limited Edition of 5000 Units
RETAIL PRICE: $29.98

La-La Land Records, Warner Bros. Records, EON Productions and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer proudly present the remastered and expanded CD re-issue release of the original motion picture score to the 2002 feature film DIE ANOTHER DAY, starring Pierce Brosnan as Ian Fleming’s James Bond 007, Halle Berry and Toby Stephens, and directed by Lee Tamahori. Acclaimed composer David Arnold (QUANTUM OF SOLACE, CASINO ROYALE, THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH, TOMORROW NEVER DIES) unleashes a powerhouse of a score -- his third in the legendary James Bond canon. It’s a thrilling musical journey -- keeping one foot in the time-honored romance and swagger of classic Bond, and one in the age of cutting-edge electronics. I didn't think you guys could do it: completely blow my mind again like you did last year with Jurassic Park. Die Another Day—David Arnold's most direly in need of an expansion Bond. This is huge. The fact that it's BOND is huge! I seriously had no idea you guys were this close to getting your hands on 007. I can't wait to hear this in full, and to hear the reactions of everyone else. "Revelatory" I'm sure is the perfect description.

Fantastic! I am soooo happy! Thank you, Thank you!

I know this is almost rude - but would there now be any chance of LLL doing the other scores as well? Especially the ones not expanded before? Pray!!!

I really hope that no cross-fade-effects are included

Yes, it's bit rude.

And LLL already answered for such question - if they could get licence for some (but not all!) Bond titles - they can try to release them.
So, this means that they could get licence for DAD. But this doesn't means that they can do the same with the other Bond titles...

I need Tomorrow Never Dies also !

Well of course! And The World Is Not Enough and Licence to Kill and A View to a Kill...

But Die Another Day is here now and I'm overjoyed!

This has been quite a year for certain score barriers being broken (for me personally anyway). The first expanded Tangerine Dream score and now a complete James Bond score! How many years have we been hoping and praying? How many endless threads discussing? How many years of doom and gloom? What a day. What a day!

Someone just posted this in the Titanic thread and I thought it appropriate to repeat here:

Holy $&@!. Thanks, La La Land! More importantly, thanks for not including the song!!!!!!!

I never had a problem with the song. It's certainly not Bond - it's just different. So were the other Brosnan songs of the time, so I was used to it at that point. It doesn't have the Paul Oakenfold track either but frankly, it's all about the SCORE.

I wonder what it was at Danjaq that finally opened the doors?

Huge Madonna fan, but Die Another Day was a song that I wasn't always the biggest fan of. It is like most Bond theme songs a product of that moment in time.

Not bothered that it isn't included on this Film Score edition.

I actually liked these two Remixes of the Song from the CD Maxi / EP single.

A hugely important release and an indicator that LLL may be able to release the Arnold Bond scores. Next year we might very well see The World Is Not Enough or Tomorrow Never Dies.

I think that they could release DAD 'cause it's MGM-related-too-close title (look at the cover - it's said original MGM album)...
Of course I also hope to see TND & TWINE (especially TWINE!).
But I wouldn't hold my breath about them...
