Bartek has scored pictures on his own, and Elfman has scored pictures without Bartek. I doubt it's that simple.

Well, thank you, Howard! I certainly would love to, but since I'm from Germany and don't have your address or anything, this could prove to be something of a problem... Contact me at afn2@yahoo.com for some serious talking. Greetings to Florida, Alex!

I don't like Hans Zimmers overuse of synthisers. I consider him a dangeris threat to orchestral scores, but I was just making the point that in a sense you can say that that most of the time he does his own orchestrations.

Is that a fact?
So, why almost all his albums come with that little list of 14 orchestrators?

That would be for the score that do use a real orchestra

Steve Bartek scored CABIN BOY. Never saw it, though.

Elfman calls himself a major Goldsmith groupie? He's just gone up several notches in my roster!

Herrmann+Psycho = proof that film music is Art. Enuff said.

The surviving stems Guenther is referring to were indeed used by Soundstage to create the 'you know what' Recently those stems showed up again downloadable and whoever posted it 'cleaned up' the recording to such an extent it finally feels like having the original OST with very DECENT sound...believe me its incredible listen.

I've alway's preferred the Unicorn release over the Varese or any other mix, some one paid 60 quid today on Ebay for the Unicorn release, it must be collectable then.
