Liverpool making moves as they close in on a 35 million Pound deal to sign Belgian hero Divock Origi and Benfica winger Lazar Markovic. What, no native Liverpudlians available to sign?

Lambert fits that criteriawink £35m seems a lot of money for what is essentially potential, as they are only 19 and 20 respectively. My understanding is Origi will be loaned back to Lille for the season, and all I know about Markovic is that he is very fast, and he scored 7 goals in 49 apps last season.

I was kinda hoping we would sign Shakira, but that looks unlikely now.

There goes my Leeds United shirt that Tall Guy wasn't going to send me (the cheap bastid).

Ross was clearly persuaded that Fulham were going up next season. Fair enough, £11m will go a long way at Elland Road.

I wonder if we'll retire the number 44 shirt. And if anyone would notice.

I don't give a Ross about Suarez, but I am gutted about McCormack, especially since Tall Guy practically and virtually sent me that Leeds United shirt. frown

Most LFC fans I know are quite accepting of the Suarez sale and wish him well.
He got us back into Champs League and made for an exciting finish to the Prem last season.
After the World Cup Bite, I think he had to go. He wasn't promoting the club very well.
I'm sure Brendan will move us on and upwards! smile

If Liverpool face Barcelona in the CL, Suarez may take you OUT of it again.

The post office keeps returning it to me, on the grounds that "Jim Phelps, Florida, USA" apparently isn't specific enough.

Shouldn't that be: "You came, you racially abused, you bit, you crushed our World Cup hopes, and you fkd off"?
