I remember most Of the episodes from this forthcoming set - and the choices here are outstanding, particularly The Pegasus, Remember Me and Relics. Thanks to everyone involved. This year, every label has seemed to entirely outdone themselves. That which we are to receive, may we be truly grateful! You know, I always loved the episodes themselves. The Pegasus is an awesome story, tension, drama, mystery, intrigue, and a morality tale in one hour. Relics is also a great unifying-the-trek-continuity story (dispite an oops from Generations about Kirk's fate), and a nice story for Scotty.

I'll probably get this even though I can hardly recall a single note of TNG background scores (unlike the original series)....many episodes seemed to have very bland music going on and way too much talk. But this set looks like a good collection.

I hope with these sets, people will want to get the rest of the music and go for the FSM boxset. It really is a must have if you're a fan of the show and its music. I'm sure the la la sets will look nice alongside the FSM boxset I agree that the FSM Ron Jones set is worth owning. Grant it is a lot to pay for but you basically get what you pay for. When it was finally confirmed I was more than happy to plunk the cash down for the set. It was my birthday present to myself since it came out in September. I think those who say the TNG music bland, need to rethink their stance and actually LISTEN to the music instead of going by what's heard in the episodes themselves. Hearing the music on its own is a lot better listening experience. but TOS cues are great in the episodes or standalone. If it didn't grab me on the show why would it on it's own? Besides....didn't they WANT more bland scores as a rule?
