It is up at SAE.

Wasn't when I checked. Son of a pig! Now it's there, big as life! Well, I already placed my order and the other CDs aren't anything I can't live without until my next order.

If you had waited a few minutes...

Looking forward to ordering this shortly. Was listening to the original again to day in preparation for the release to be sure I'd like it. The samples are surprising, definitely "okay I'll be ordering" smile

Particularly enjoyed Two Faces Entrance / Batmans Entrance (1-24) and the sax at the back of Rooftop Seduction.

[edit] listening to this again reminded me again how much I preferred this style (Elfman & Walker too) compared to Zimmer / Howard.

I definitely expect to see a lighter, more heroic Batman post-Nolan. It's just the way Hollywood works, especially if Dark Knight Rises fails to live up to expectations. The music will probably match as well.

I see that one of the tracks contains music from Goldenthal's ALIEN³. Could the inclusion of this piece here mean that La-La Land also have the rights to ALIEN³ for a future release?

Also on the subject of Alien 3 - is that excerpt of Wreckage and Rape rerecorded for BF, or was it tracked?

Thanks for clearing up my question so quickly.

I ordered this release of BATMAN FOREVER and I am really looking forward to hearing the previously-unreleased music. Thanks, La-La Land Records.

I'm still not buying Val Kilmer as Batman, but I will buy this!

He was more believable as Batman than George Clooney IMO; however, that's not sayin' much...

Is this one expected to sell out? My poor wallet can't take much more after 3 weeks in the USA.

THE best Batman. Ever!!!!!

ps BF is a wonderfully entertaining film and was a big hit when it was released.
Unfortunately, ex post facto, it's reputation has been diminished due to the poor entry BATMAN & ROBIN, also directed by Joel Schumacher>. This is decidedly unfair! Judge the film on its own merits - its the best of the original four
after BATMAN (and might have been the best if they left Two Face out of the storyline)

I would say no: after all BATMAN and BATMAN RETURNS are still available.
But in the soundtrack world anything can happen.

I remember it was tracked right from the Alien3 recording. But maybe it was taken from a mix earlier than the Alien3 album? Without fadeouts and that. That would be nice.

I placed my order for all 3 Batman scores at 1:03 and got my shipping notice at 1:57pm. Pretty speedy.

With asterisks on every cue, was the entire score "previously unreleased?" lol

By the way, do you think the current generation of teens considers Keaton, Kilmer & Clooney like I consider Adam West?

As far as the movies go I'd have to go with Keaton>Bale>Kilmer>Clooney. The one person whose voice I'll always associate with Batman is Kevin Conroy though.

Were those two limited as well? I bought them last year.
