Amazingly, my very own Oslo, Norway has been added to the tour (August 24), but would you believe it's on the same day I travel to Denmark for a weekend holiday (and flights have already been booked)! Damn it all to hell!

Thor, you could Always go to Malmoe in south of Sweden August 30th . it will be my second Carpenter show after seeing him in Copenhagen May 30th and he was awesome and well worth it

Hope he will have M&G in Sweden (didn´t have that option in Denmark thou)

Yeah, I could, but I just now realized I'm flying to Denmark on the 25th, NOT 24th. So I will actually be able to attend this after all. Maybe I can get an interview too; I will definitely try.

Ok, got to see this last Friday...wow! I managed to be the first one in the door for the meet and greet and Mr. Carpenter signed my filmmaking slate along with a couple of other items. He was laid back and fun to talk to for the short time allowed, but really worth the wait as I had wanted to cross meeting him off my bucket list for a long time.

The Concert was nothing short of FANTASTIC! The band played all of the favorites, plus several from Lost Themes I&II. I was amazed at how good the sound system was and also by how well what we've been listening to on Lp/cd for so many years translated solidly to live performance.

Given the chance in coming years I will most definitely pay to see them again.

Well worth every penny for the VIP package as well wink

Me

Carpenter is interviewed about his music (and his career in general) on the new episode of the podcast WTF with Marc Maron.

Seems like he's getting tired of these interviews. Can't blame him. These people need to come up with some original questions.

I'm hoping to interview him in a month and remedy some of that. But no good news if he's getting tired of the questions.

Honestly, I think he wants some new questions...that and he IS getting older. Having toured x amount of months.. I'm betting he's ready to relax a bit.

Thor, I can't wait for your interview with the Maestro

I dunno, he sounds a lot more animated than he used to be.

But man, I can listen to Dante talk all day.

No no no he seemed to have fun with that interview even if it was standard questions...
Carpenter has always had that attitude of fuck the World, I´ll go my own way kind of thing and that´s what is cool about him

I do hope Carpenter will make another movie and have him and "his family" to score it.
Creature from the Black Lagoon needs to be done Carpenter style with some Carpenter music...

Bring up Firestarter. He rarely talks about that one.

That and his involvement in the possible remake of Creature from the Black Lagoon in the 90´s, maybe about his game involvment (Sentinel Returns and Fear).
His thought about possible scoring the new Halloween Movie.

And make him play something from Vampires when he comes visiting Scandinavia too smile

Yep, but when The Thing didn't perform as expected, he was fired from the project.
