Disc #2 (episode scores by J.A.C. Redford and Craig Safan):
I'll likely never listen to the pair of dull, all-synth Safan efforts again ("To See The Invisible Man" and "Tooth & Consequences"), but overall an impressive array of scores. Redford's one is especially lovely.
Disc #2 (alternates and original album presentation):
The 1996 album presentation remains an excellent distillation of the score's essence, so I'm glad it was included.
Another wonderful suspense type score - for a stinker of a film - brought to you by the good folks at MovieScore Media, a label to be applauded for their impeccable musical taste and bold, adventurous spirit. Pity Hollywood has given up on that for the most part.
Those are some mighty fine scores you're a playin' Mr. Bop
Indeed they are. It's now been a couple of years since I started the daunting project of ripping my entire CD collection to a network drive, and I haven't really listened to any of the older scores in my collection until I've gotten them ripped. I finally decided it was time to buckle down and rip all my Young CDs, so I spent most of the weekend getting all his older scores ripped and making a few custom album covers for some of his stuff like Avenging Angel and Highpoint. I'd say I still have about twenty-five more CDs of his to go, but it's been very nice playing these again.
