Kudos to Kritzerland for re-releasing this.

I missed out on Varese's box set, but own FSM's version. This will be nice to have, as well. The samples sound great.

I'm hoping HANGOVER SQUARE, THE GHOST AND MRS. MUIR and WHITE WITCH DOCTOR are re-released in the near future. smile

"The Lagoon" sample is vintage Herrmann....no one else could have composed it.

NEW KRITZERLAND: BENEATH THE 12-MILE HERRMANN!

hmm...12-Mile Herrmann..... That's an odd moniker, but I guess it's better than Chattanooga Herrmann or Jellyroll Herrmann.

Finally the Lost In Space Library Music CD!

That's one of the reasons I snagged the Varese box set when it came out. So much Irwin Allen music in that box... All amazing scores in their own right, but it was a windfall of library music. I had to sell a kidney, but it was worth it.

Did the Herrmann in the 20th box have all of the music in the current release?

And difference in the mastering to the Varese?

It's the same

This would've been the perfect time to send it through the Capstan software... Too bad.

I'm thinking that it had that for the Varese release.

Yes, it's the exact same music presented in the exact same way. Here you get a separate release with a beautiful cover smile

I think people are only asking the question because your first BH Box re-do featured noticeable improvements over the box version!

Yes, that one we went back to because I asked Mike to give that another listen.

This one, we all were in consensus that it was excellent.

For the others, we'll go case by case.
