It's been two years since the last Legacy Collection release. (Robin Hood) All they're doing now is releasing stuff on vinyl. Who will rescue me?

It's been two years since the last Legacy Collection release. (Robin Hood) All they're doing now is releasing stuff on vinyl. Not quite two years (we did have the Legacy edition of Beauty and the Beast last year), though it is frustrating that we've had no "legitimate" information as to whether they're continuing the series or not.

Pocahontas for me is his most "perfect" musical work (I know the film itself has some problems, but his music isn't one of them). But even if Hunchback has a disposable comedic song or two... at its heights it may be the greatest music Menken has ever written. Yavar

Yes yes there are a ton of other Disney things we want (what's "Taron"?)... Aladdin and Mulan of course, from the 90s renaissance... but for now can we celebrate the return of the Legacy Collection with Hunchback finally getting a complete release? Yavar

Yavar I think he means The Black Cauldron, although I think the Intrada release is just fine.

Why wasn’t the previous CD release of Tron good though? I thought it included everything from the tapes Wendy Carlos had (she did a whole blog post about baking them and everything, IIRC). Yavar

Yavar It wasn't complete and Carlos found more sessions and included it on one of her compilation albums. So Tron deserves a revisit.
