BERT SHEFTER was born on MAY 15, 1902 in RUSSIA. Bert scored over 70 films from the early 50's into the early 70's mostly for 20TH CENTURY FOX. They included KRONAS, THE DEERSLAYER, IT, THE TERROR FROM OUTER SPACE, A DOG OF FLANDERS, RETURN OF THE FLY, THE LOST WORLD, VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA, LAST MAN ON EARTH, THE CHRISTINE JORGENSEN STORY ETC ETC.He also did over a hundred episodes for the TV series HAWAIAN EYE in the 60's, He passed away at the ripe old age of 97 on JUNE 29, 1999.

MARK MOTHERSBAUGH was born on MAY 18, 1950 in AKRON ,OHIO, He scored over 60 feature length films since the late 80's , Many of them for TV. His output includes REVENGE OF THE NERDS NO 2,HAPPY GILMORE.BEST MAN, RUGRATS THE MOVIE,21 JUMP STREET ETC ETC. He also has been very active with TV series like, REGULAR SHOW, HOUSE OF LIES ETC. He is currently active at the age of 64.

ZBIGNIEW PREISNER was born on MAY 20, 1955 in BIELSKO, BIALA, SLASKIE, POLAND. He has scored over 50 features since the 80's.They include EMINENT DOMAIN, EUROPA, EUROPA, THE SECRET GARDEN, WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN ETC ETC. Currently 59 years old.
A huge favorite of mine now that I've caught up with the films of Kieslowski. In addition, the use of Preisner's Lacrimosa in THE TREE OF LIFE was the most striking music for that glorious movie.

HOWARD GOODALL was born on MAY,26, 1958 in BROMLEY, KENT, ENGLAND. He was a composer for many TV movies AND TV series since the 80's.He also scored the successful theatrical film BEAN.Some of his TV series were RED DWARF, VICAR OF DIBLEY, MR BEAN, THE THIN BLUE LINE, INTRESSEKLUBBEN, QI, ETC. Still active at the age of 56.

DANNY ELFMAN was born on MAY 29, 1953 in LOS ANGELAS, CALIFORNIA. He has done music for over 80 films since the 80's.They include PEE WEE'S BIG ADVENTURE,BEETLEJUICE,BATMAN,DICK TRACY,DARKMAN, EDWARD SCISSORHANDS, NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS,MISSION IMPOSSIBLE,MEN IN BLACK,PLANET OF THE APES,SPIDER MAN , CHARLOTTE'S WEB, ALICE IN WONDERLAND, HITCHCOCK, ETC ETC.Still very active at 61.
