MAX STEINER was born on MAY 10, 1888 in VIENNA AUSTRIA, HUNGARY.Max was one of the early great film composers out of Hollywood . He scored over 200 features from the early 30's till the 60's. Some of his better known efforts were KING KONG, SON OF KONG, LITTLE WOMEN, CHARGE OF THE LIGHT BRIGADE, A STAR IS BORN, GONE WITH THE WIND, THEY DIED WITH THEIR BOOTS ON, CASABLANCA, MILDRED PIERCE, THE BIG SLEEP, THE CAINE MUTINY, A SUMMER PLACE ETC ETC . Max passed away on DECEMBER 28, 1971 at the age of 83.

BURT BACHARACH was born on MAY 12, 1928 in KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI[HEARTLAND OF AMERICA]Burt was possibly the most successful pop composer of the 60's , collaborating with HAL DAVID[LYRICS] and DIONNE WARWICK[SINGER] bringing forth a whole bunch of big hits on the top 40 charts. In the field of films he composed music for about a dozen films, some were, WHAT'S NEW PUSSYCAT, BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID, LOST HORIZON, ARTHUR, MAKING LOVE ETC . Burt is currently 86 years old.

He also did the TV series BIG LOVE. David was a member of the rock group ,TALKING HEADS. He is still active at the age of 62.
