I'm not too enthusiastic, I needed three more minutes and it could well be LLL was flooded with orders during the first minutes smile
But it was great being part of the show!

Well it looks like I missed out on the autograph for this one, (and one of the few i was looking forward to, too. A pity.) unless by some miracle it doesn't sell out for the first few hours after release. Maybe someone will trade me the autographed Conti booklet for a Frontiere OL autograph.

If not, oh well. I guess it will save me ~$7 in shipping and tax anyway!

Eh... did I miss something? I mean, I don't reckon I will grab one of the autographed CDs but is it already announced and put on the homepage? I'm constantly refreshing the page and so far nothing shows up...?

I had last minute plans and left at 11:30...as I said in my post previous to the one you were responding to. Got back at 1. I figured they wouldn't last an hour. i was right. Mild disappointment, If I cared that much I would have told my friend to wait until I ordered a CD, despite the nerd status that would have coincided, lol.

It's simple Sgt., some of these folks have snapped their twig in fevered anticipation and are delusional. big grin

No steven, i was simply guessing that they wouldn't last an hour, when I was going to return to my computer. Not only did they not last an hour, they didn't last TEN minutes. So waht exactly was delusional? If anything, I was a SOOTHSAYER. razz

In all honesty...

Did Conti insist on adding "the original album presentation"?

Because I can't see any real reason for it to be there. It seems superfluous, when there's no new music, just things shifted around. I honestly don't have an issue with splitting the score over 2CDs -- but why was the extra needed in the first place?

This isn't even a case like TWATL or Lifeforce where there's other extra music that would force a 2CD anyway.

Thankfully it IS still only $20 so we're getting it, kinda, for free, but it's still very, to say the least, /baffling/ why it was done like this.

I imagine the liner notes tell all. Is it simply a case of things being shifted aruond? One of my favorite tracks, "Good Journey" isn't even on the first presentation....

I guess it's track 3 and 4 on disc 2 together.

I see it this way:

1. It allows people (like me) who never had the original release to own it.
2. The sound quality is superior.
3. The price is AWESOME. They're basically giving us 100% Masters Of The Universe, for the price of a regular CD release.

What else can one ask for? It's an amazing gesture from the label. Add to that the autographs and you have a label to worship.

It would have been nice to have the ccomplete score on one disc IF it would fit. But that might not have been the case. smile

Spectacular release, i'm still waiting for moviemusic to add it to their site so I can order it. big grin
