Because Beck was the most talented of the whole lot. And his contributions where the most powerful and memorable. That's pretty subjective, don't you think? Personally I think some of Robert Duncan's stuff was just as good as Beck. And Thomas Wanker had some excellent moments as well. Every time I watch season 4 (which has the most unreleased stuff from him) for instance I'm yearning time and time again to hear these wonderful cues on CD. Not to mention a seperate disc for Hush and Restless (one can only dream). Season 2 and 3 both got a promotional release but again, it was still missing a lot of stuff. I'm with you on wanting season 4 to get some attention. The only memorable cues from Thomas Wanker and Robert Duncan where the Youtube links you posted. Not enough warrant to have entire disc devoted to them in my opinion. So you concede that those cues were memorable...but you really are going to assert that everything else they wrote for the show was unmemorable and worthless? I remember quite a few other excellent score moments from seasons 5-7 besides Beck's The Gift and Once More With Feeling. I'm glad this set will be covering the entire show, and since Beck did get a full commercial disc of his music released already (plus other bits and pieces here and there) I think it's only fair that half of the set or so be dedicated to other composers who worked on the show, even if Beck was the best. I just wanted to say THANK YOU again to MV for answering these questions. That´s the kind of customer service that really puts LLL over the top.

Of course that's subjective, Yavar. That's the point of discussing, isn't it? I never wrote that those cues were worthless. But I think listening to a compilation of Beck/Wanker/Duncan material is not as worthwhile compared to having a whopping 3-disc Christophe Beck Collection. That said, I wouldn't mind a volume 2 that focuses on the Wanker or Duncan stuff.

Hi there, a couple of years ago, when you were releasing the Soundtrack to the 2011 "Thundercats" - Animated Series, you said you were also looking into releasing the music from the original Thundercats - Series from the 80´s and in combination with that, the "SilverHawks" - Soundtrack (both fom composer Bernard Hoffer). Any updates on that subject? Is a release still a possibility?? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sw3PaIsdzXk Original Tcats might prove difficult. Contracts missing. As for Silverhawks need to do more research

SAE's reissue of Those Calloways showed that Disney wasn't strictly exclusive to Intrada. I wonder why they'd pass up an opportunity to work with a great label like LLL. There's so much in their back catalogue and it's not like Intrada is getting through all of it all that quickly... Yavar
