INVENTING ANNA---trailer released for the Netflix con artist miniseries.

LINK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4x8G9LDhMk

BLADE RUNNER---Ridley Scott confirmed he is developing a tv series based on the sci fi movie that starred Harrison Ford, “We have already written the pilot for BLADE RUNNER and the bible. So, we’re already presenting BLADE RUNNER as a TV show, probably the first 10 hours.” Scott and Noah Hawley are also developing an FX tv series based on ALIEN.

OBI-WAN KENOBI---Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy commented on the reunion of Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen for the Disney+ miniseries, "The thing that was most exciting was being on the set and watching the two of them get excited. They hadn't seen one another in a long time. I was surprised at just how incredibly emotional it was for each of them to find themselves back in these roles, and just realizing how important STAR WARS was to each of them. It was the beginning of their careers."
Kennedy also appeared to hint that other characters from the sequel trilogy will return for the miniseries, "Certainly, those are not characters we’re going to forget. They will live on, and those are conversations that are going on with the creative team as well.”

STAR WARS: AHSOKA---Natasha Liu Bordizzo will play Sabine Wren in the Disney+ miniseries starring Rosario Dawson.

DUNE: PART TWO---Denis Villeneuve confirmed PART TWO will feature characters missing from the first movie, including Feyd-Rautha, “Definitely. That’s a choice that I personally brought on. There was enough characters that were introduced in this first part, and it will be more elegant to keep Feyd for PART TWO. It will be definitely a very, very important character in the second part.”

SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME---Andrew Garfield continued to deny he is appearing in the sequel, “Listen, at this point…I’m done. We’ll all find out when the movie comes out, and we’ll either be very disappointed or we’ll be very happy or someone will say, ‘I told you so,’ and another person will be like, ‘No, I told you so.’ We’ll all find out. I’m sorry in advance.”

DC LEAGUE OF SUPERPETS---John Krasinski confirmed he will be the voice of Superman i the animated tv series that also features Keanu Reeves and Dwayne Johnson.

ARCANE---Netflix renewed the animated tv series for Season 2.

TRIVIA---more James Bond movie trivia.
Dolph Lundgren studied chemical engineering at Washington State University, Clemson University and received his degree from Sweden's Royal Institute of Technology. Lundgren was a Fulbright Scholar at MIT for two weeks, but he dropped out for a small role as Venz, KGB Gen. Gogol's bodyguard in A VIEW TO A KILL.
Lundgren's breakout role was Ivan Drago in ROCKY IV. He received a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Australia's Sydney University where he is listed as, “our only alumnus (that we know of) who’s gone toe-to-toe with Sylvester Stallone.”

Thanks, Dragon!

Lundgren was also a blackbelt in Kyokushin Karate - a style that features contact. Imagine sparring with him!

I don't believe Ridley Scott anymore. With all the Alien movies he wanted to make and the time it took to get another Blade Runner Series It's hard to believe there will be a TV show. He has his hands in to many things.

The excitement is palpable.

(Though to be fair, this is Hayden Christensen's "incredibly emotional" face.)

God forbid they should base it on the original book, speaking of "the bible" for Blade Runner.

LMAO!!!

You know I blamed George for his bad acting in the Star Wars prequels, but then I saw him in something else and realized he couldn't act his way out of a paper bag.

Imagine if Garfield and Macguire aren’t in No Way Home! After all the build up the internet will explode if it all turns out to be nothing more than fanboy speculation.

But I’m pretty sure they are in it. I can’t see any way that one Spidey would be able to defeat all those baddies alone. Plus think about how difficult the exposition is going to be if spideys Mark I and II aren’t there to explain who’s who.

Yep, I agree, he is dreadful. He’s so bad he makes Henry Cavill look like he can act.

Garfield did a pretty bad job denying he's in it. Then again there's no right answer to the question if you're trying to remain honest. It's like asking a politician if they're running for president when you know they are considering it! I'm still suspect of the "leaked" image but this film is clearly opening up the multi-verse.

A Ridley Scott produced TV series on Blade Runner eh? So each hour long episode will only have 13 minutes of plot and 47 minutes of people walking verrrrrry slowly past fans and louvred windows for no reason other than it looks pretty. I’m yawning already.

But since Hovis-Man has been so critical of the scripts of Marvel movies recently he presumably will ensure that his latest production will have brilliant characterisation (so unlike the original Blade Runner then).

I have as well. The Star Wars films probably are his strongest performances.

Yup, agreed here, though it is true that George even admitted that he directed the cast to act in a more stoic, formal style more akin to the 1930's he said. Ridiculous choice I thought and the staid acting pretty much ruined the trilogy for me. But Hayden just couldn't act even if a lightsaber was pointed at his head.

I still blame Lucas.
His directing skills leave quite a bit to be desired, as well as his ability to write good dialogue.
He, of course, would say that it was all deliberate stylistic choices and that he wanted performances to be old-fashioned and not necessarily reflective of current/modern speech trends--but I don't really buy that.

I don't want to come down on his talent too hard, but I tend to think any relative greatness of the SW films is due to the skills of his editors.
