That discussion is ridiculous. Bruce's original comment is similar to what would make someone who just washed the car and then it rains even though the weatherman said it would be a sunny day. You can't do nothing about it and it's nobody's fault, but still, I understand why he has to verbalize it

yeah, but his tone often implies his underwear is on too tight (ie controlling). What do you think "Hanes his way" really means...

I just have to say that I'm VERY excited about hearing of a FOREVER YOUNG expanded release. This has been one of my favorite Goldsmith scores from the 90s and I'm glad to hear that LaLaLand will be putting out this wonderful score. A big early thank you to everyone involved!

These four titles were going to be:

Batman Forever Expanded Archival Collection
Forever Young Expanded Archival Collection
Space Above and Beyond (3 cd set)
1941 (2 cd set)

Those titles are still coming -- When? Who knows....but they are in the chute.

That said, we might have one more title come in just in time for Comic Con -- that will be making its debut at the show and then on the website Aug 2. It was produced by Ford A Thaxton and Lukas Kendall and should, hopefully be here shortly.

Can't comment about Golden Child, I barely remember the movie and certainly not the score but I'll check the samples out.

However Forever Young & 1941 getting expanded releases really excite me and they are so bought when they come out, thank you MV & LLL for producing them.

I expect i'll pickup batman forever Coz I'm a completist and Space Above and Beyond in part because Lehah has talked my ear off about it over the last decade (much like Slipstream)

Of course I would really love to have the Colombier disc, but buying an entire 3CD-set may be a bit too much.

Of course I would really love to have the Colombier disc, but buying an entire 3CD-set may be a bit too much.

The other two discs cost an extra 10$ on top of a standard priced CD from a soundtrack label Tiimes are tough, but $10 is not the end of the world and who knows? you may find something you like on the other discs.

I really want the Barry score but also look forward to discovering something new with the Colombier

I received an email early this morning stating that it was going on sale at 11a PST - but the original post says 1p PST; since it's a little past 11a PST and nothing has gone up yet, I guess the correct time is 1p PST...

La-La Land Records presents, in association with Paramount Pictures and Capitol Records, the premiere release of both John Barry’s unused score and Michel Colombier’s score to the 1986 Paramount Pictures action/adventure motion picture THE GOLDEN CHILD, starring Eddie Murphy, Charlotte Lewis, Charles Dance and directed by Michael Ritchie. Mr. Barry’s (FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, BODY HEAT, A VIEW TO A KILL, DANCES WITH WOLVES) unused orchestral score is simply put, wondrous -- a powerful, majestic work brimming with action, suspense and romance that strongly recalls the recently departed composer’s 80s Bond period while still retaining its own robust identity. Composer Michel Colombier’s (RUTHLESS PEOPLE, THE MONEY PIT, AGAINST ALL ODDS) score, only a portion of which has been previously released, is finally given its proper due here as well, showcasing the composer’s knack for traditional action scoring blended with the era’s contemporary, synth-based pop sound. Produced by Lukas Kendall and mastered by Mike Matessino, this comprehensive 3-Disc collection of music contains additional unreleased Barry cues, including the unused song “Dance A Little Closer” performed by none other than Randy Edelman! Along with Barry’s “Best Man In The World,” performed by Ann Wilson of Heart fame, all songs featured on the original 1986 soundtrack album are presented here, including tracks from such artists as Ratt, Ashford & Simpson, Meli’sa Morgan and others. Film music writer Jon Burlingame takes you behind the film’s duo of scores in his exclusive liner notes. A must for film music fans, this limited edition release of 5000 units showcases the work of two brilliant composers who remain with us through the timelessness of their talent.

It adds up to 77 minutes of music on the first disc.

What time is 1pm PST in the UK?

The correct time is indeed 1pm PST. The last batch was a special one time only 11am release, and MV simply forgot to change the time back in the email
