$39.98

Here's to hoping somehow, some way through the mess that is now Warners Bros Discovery, this may finally be Adventures of Batman and Robin. The empty spot on my shelf is collecting some serious dust.

Thanks for the update MV.

Haven’t the previous Batman TAS volumes that are 4CDs been $60, not $40? I share your desire but I think we’re going to have to wait longer still.

I am guessing one might be a Williams title per Mike Mattesino’s comment that one Williams is due out before the end of the year. (Could come from Quartet or a surprise Varese final Club) but my bet is on the LLL monkey machine.

Honestly I don't remember anymore. I think $60 might be right though.

Yep, pretty sure that that release would be $59.98 (unless the price changes).

Expanded 007's, please !

It is what I'm hoping. The prices exclude the possibility of big box sets like Indy or Star Wars.

Other titles I'd love would be Jurassic Park III, Harry Potter and The Goblet Of Fire, Sugarland Express...

Well, if it's five titles, than it might be down by one from the possible six titles they were working on.
Wonder which one had to be postponed.

How many discs would The Adventures of Batman & Robin need?

I think it's safe to say that 'Top Gun' is a sure bet.
I was hoping for a 'Godfather 50th' Boxset, but there doesn't seem to be a Boxset included.
Perhaps the first movie as a standalone album.
And yes, please, more 007

Four, definitely, so it should be around $60 like Vols. 2 & 3 (I guess LLL might raise the price by $5 or something?)

The New Batman Adventures, if LLL ever gets around to the orchestral scores for that follow up series, *might* require five discs or might be a super packed four, depending on the lengths of the individual scores.

Perhaps finally 1st ever Delerue from LLL = TWINS (unless waiting for 35th anniversary next year)
And wasn't LLL also supposedly working on DEVIL IN A BLUE DRESS? or HALLELUJAH TRAIL since the tapes are rumored to exist after all...

But since it seems there is 3x 2CD, 1x 1CD and 1 possibly 3-4 CDs... it kinds of limits the options...

But HP4 FINALLY would be nice... but with Warner Bros development perhaps that isn't very likely to happen any time soon...

Avatar would be nice, but I feel like Cameron has some say over that and seems to not care about anything but doing new Avatar stuff.

That's a whole quagmire. Avatar is a Disney property.

On top of that, it will be VERY pricey if and when it comes. A complete release of just what Horner recorded, without alternates and pickups, would span 4 CDs. Tack on a 5th for (drastic in some cases) alternates/demos.

Somehow, someday it needs to bubble up. Let's just say there was more good music than you'd ever believe left off the OST, both from what was in the movie and what never made the final cut.

TAOBAR fits on 4 discs, yes.

TNBA would require 5 discs for every last note, but could be squeezed onto 4 with abridgment.

My fantasy project would actually be an 11- or 12-disc megaset for THE NEW BATMAN/SUPERMAN ADVENTURES, which would combine all of TNBA with all the remaining unreleased scores from STAS. That's pure pipe dream, though, and an illustration of how the numbers add up -- so please don't bug MV about it!

MV actually floated this idea a few years ago, but it was only the remaining STAS as the lone set wasn't doing as well as BTAS and seemed the only way to finish the series.

At this point my biggest hope is there is enough door still open to do any future releases at all. Warner is going through major changes, and it's been so long people might have rotated out even under normal circumstances by now. Hopefully there's still an "in."

“No new titles for February or March 2023. We will be focusing on getting out of stock titles BACK in stock during those months.”

Elmer’s ‘True Grit’ and the ‘Wild, Wild West’ box? Please?

I wonder if the abridgement would involve combining multiple cues into fewer tracks to save space on the set, or if you perhaps mean that some cues would have to be cut altogether.

I love this idea -- I would certainly buy such a set! smile

$29.98
$29.98
$39.98
$29.98
$21.98

MV

I would say that $39.98 may be THE GODFATHER trilogy, being a 3 cd set. Also it could be a new edition of HOOK consisting on 3 cds.

One of the $29.98 may be TOP GUN: MAVERICK while the $21.98 could be Harold Faltermeyer' score for the original TOP GUN (in case it's just a single cd).

Another of the $29.98 could be THE LOST WORLD, as we already had JURASSIC PARK earlier this year. If this is the one, then the expensive price goes to Coppola's trilogy as there will be just a John Williams release.

And I have no idea what the other $29.98 may be. Here's hoping for some Golden Age stuff which is becoming difficult to get nowadays.

In January 2023 we will be releasing 2 titles, then after that, we are taking a hiatus for a few months -- No new titles for February or March 2023. We will be focusing on getting out of stock titles BACK in stock during those months.
MV

Let me tell you this is a WONDERFUL idea. There are some releases I missed and would like to have the opportunity of buying. Is there any clue of what titles will come back in stock?
