Three releases in September by Rustichelli, Lavagnino and ?? (1964, maybe Lavagnino as well?) is great! Coupled with the four 70s-80s BEAT RECORDS and CHRIS SOUNDTRACK CDs, we've had a great month. Plus ... not one but ... two titles from 1966 forthcoming from Digitmovies (a Savina and an Ortolani).

Three releases in September by Rustichelli, Lavagnino and ?? (1964, maybe Lavagnino as well?) is great! ... There is also a number of Carlo Savina titles from '64 still unreleased, as well as a few by Trovajoli, too. So it will be a Carlo Savina disc after all! One of the Savina vinyl LPs is getting the re-issue/expansion treatment on CD: Amore Mio. Thanks Saimel for continuing to add to the Savina discography.

I finally acquired this cd and I can confirm I'm in agreement with all the positive posts. How wonderful that such a varied and melodic score has been saved by Saimel, great thanks to Juan and Stefan. This must have one of the most beautiful love themes I have heard by this composer, and indeed is reminiscent of George Delerue. However there is also a gorgeous Spain style theme in vocal and a number of great orchestral arrangements of this theme. The the main/end title and battle music are again some of the most powerful I have heard from Rustichelli. This is one heck of a score, and the production values are great as usual! Don't hesitate to buy it at such a limited quantity!
