And yet...is there any way to just have the illustrated stuff, on its own? The whole point was to try and avoid the weird "rotoscope" cover, and while that happened for the main image, we've still got the same strange strange photo of Joanne Woodward that's been essentially painted over on the right. I know it's just a third of the image now, but it still bugs me, for some reason. I just think it's a really bizarre poster approach on the part of the Fox marketing team. Basically I'm with you: illustrations all the way!
But maybe there's just no way to fill an image of these dimensions without it.

I know what you mean. I used the painted over photo to avoid having a big empty space in the cover. Cause if i don't want to break the graphic rules I established for this collection. The text has to stay at the top and bottom of the cover. I could try to come up with a different composition. If I find the time, I'll try something.
Making do with what you get… there are 3 iterations of Balloon Babe: photographic, painted and sketched graphic, none of which make for the greatest stand-alone composition (I tried various permutations and wasn't satisfied with any of them), so rather than keep fighting it, I just went with the flow:

Star Trek TMP Alternates & Additional Music (1979)
Star Trek TMP Early Cues & Orig. 1979 Album (1979)
After many years of trying to sort out all my 'Batman: The Animated Series' music over the years, I've decided that I've had enough and chose to work on the cover artwork for every individual episode myself.
The work done is slightly crude. I just took the highest resolution of the title cards I could find and crop it into a square image. The final resolution for each card is 468x468. Here's a look at the work (One episode is missing. Can you guess what it was?!)
If anyone is interested in grabbing the individual files for your own use, I can come up with a link for it if you want. Don't want to spam 65 images in one post after all!
Does anyone have a cover for the RSNO recording of Tora! Tora! Tora!? I seem to remember having run across one using the Japanese awhile back, but can't remember if it was here or somewhere else and I'm having difficulty hunting it down.
